Links to Church
We have close links with All Saints’ Church. Reverend Derek Jones is a foundation member of the school governing board and has supported the school with the development of reflective spaces and the vision statement. Reverend Derek also leads bespoke RE lessons to small groups of children, as well as assemblies and faith-based activities.
Children regularly attend All Saints’ Church at various points throughout the academic year for events and activities organised in conjunction with the clergy. Our RE curriculum incorporates regular links with visits to the local church and draws on the knowledge and experience of the vicar to enhance the children’s overall learning experience.
At All Saints’ we work alongside the Church to organise and support events such as the annual street party and the food bank provision the Church provides for the local community.
The links between All Saints Church of England Primary School and All Saints’ Church are strong and will continue to develop with a local playgroup being organised and ESOL classes being arranged by both parties.
