At All Saints, Art and Design and Technology enables creativity and imagination to be implemented at the highest level, allowing our children to express their knowledge and skills. This is interpreted through creativity and innovation. Our children are engaged and inspired through challenges. This equips them with knowledge and skills to explore and experiment. This will follow into creating their own works of art, craft and design. Throughout their learning journey, children will be able to critically analyse and develop a more rigorous understanding of art and design. They should also know that art and design both link to history and contribute to the culture, creativity and the wealth of our school. Children will be inspired to research well-known artists, engineers, designers, architects and chefs who have contributed to the society of art and design technology. Our aim will be to make cross-curricular links where possible, such as maths, literacy, computing and science.
